I am going Penang :)

I will be leaving Singapore for Penang in a while's time! :)

I went Penang when I was 3 yo, and I have zero memory from that. I am glad to visit Penang again!

I will be going with MrSalty and his family. And it's going to be a 4day trip!

Hope it'll be fun!!

I am so looking forward to the penang char kway tiao and penang laksa, and cheap shopping bargains!

OMG, I can't wait.

Hey dolls! It's Mothers' Day today. :)

Due to the big family that I have, we have already celebrated on Thursday (My mum's plan. She said the market gna be super crowded on Saturday given that most family gna eat together.). My mum loves to joke about how people or the media love to make a big hooha about Mothers' Day, and nobody gives two hoots about Fathers' Day. lol! True. 

So, what have y'all gotten for your mothers this Mothers' Day?

Mine's easy. She hinted about wanting a particular fruit blender (and about how good it is, don't have to cut the fruit into pieces, and about the 101 benefits of drinking juices). And then proceed with telling me the cost. $199. LOL! 

My eldest sister got my mum a wok --___-- , 

and the other elder sister got my mum a mini rice cooker --______--||| .

Yes. All the kitchen-y stuffs. 

And she used the same hinting technique. lol

Reminiscences of yesteryears..

Those secondary school years were bitter-sweet,

so here are the 'sweetness'.

Anyway,

I looked so adorable and not main-stream lo.

I played tennis, went to the libraries and flew kites..

Till today, I still don't understand how people love to say nasty stuff to/at/about me then.

I'm glad those days are over.

Our busy lives haven't been kind to us. :(

It is super difficult for us to meet up and party like how we did for the past 2 years.

But nevertheless, there are times,

when I am not fatigue from work,

when Celeste has no overdue homework,

when Vivian need not meet her boyfriend,

when Shan has no "school tomorrow"!

(And the rest are just super busy and frequently MIA -___- )

That night was a mini get-together celebrating two of our common friends' birthday.

There wasn't alot of Birthday actions going on though (guys).
